We are on the final week countdown before leaving for Musicianaries’ Cambodia Outreach the entire month of July! We have a team of 14 people from the U.S. and a 12-member drama team from Cambodia that will be actively ministering to the many villagers throughout the country.
We will, once again, be handing out 200 tons of rice, with bags of iodized salt, in more than 15 different villages; distributing thousands of vitamins to the villagers; performing dramas at each location that depict the ministry of Christ and Bible stories before handing out Gospel tracts to the locals; and giving school uniforms and supplies to 200 children.
The Lord has blessed us this year beyond our expectations! The ladies from our local church here in Florida have been busy every Tuesday night—for months!--sewing 210 dresses for little orphan girls who have very little. Our church has also donated over 200 shirts for the boys and men! We are so blessed to be able to personally deliver this wonderful clothing to each one individually! We will get plenty of pictures with their brilliant smiles to show how grateful and adorable these little ones are!
Last week, we were amazed beyond words by the enthusiasm of 125 Vacation Bible School children at our church who had a goal to raise $1500 for a well in Cambodia! It would irrigate a rice farm that adjoins the orphan village property (mentioned above) to help feed these children year round. We heard stories of the “VBS” kids emptying their little piggy banks and telling their parents and grandparents about the needy kids they could help. It was a precious time that melted our hearts as we watched them, full of faith, striving to accomplish this goal. The result was not $1500—they raised $3000 so TWO wells could be built! Needless to say, tears were everywhere at their achievement and the Lord’s blessing! We will also take pictures of the first new well that is currently under construction!
Thank you so much for your prayers and support in helping us see these many blessings accomplished! Please continue to pray for our team as we go throughout Cambodia in remote places where sometimes “roads” can only be imagined! J Please pray for good health, success in sharing the Gospel of Christ to so many who have never heard, wisdom in our decisions, and joy in giving all that has been provided. May the Lord continue to bless you and your families this summer!
Blessings to you,

3/31/2009 : Message from Lee, Rachel and Jeff...
Our hearts are aching as we tell you that Bobby passed away this evening shortly after going into the operating room. Before the surgeons started the operation, Bobby's heart stopped with an instant "flat-line". The medical team tried for 45 minutes to resuscitate him but his heart did not respond.
We are deeply saddened by our loss...but rejoice that Bobby did get totally healed...with a new heart, kidneys, and any other part that might have needed fixing. The Lord knew the plans He had for Bobby...and today was his graduation day as he went to the One he loved the most and served so faithfully.
Words cannot express our thanks for all the love, prayers, and notes of encouragement that have come to us by everyone who have been touched by Bobby's life. Our prayer for all of you is that you will experience the same peace and comfort that we have received from the Father.
We will let you know of memorial plans once these details have made. Thank you again for all of the love and prayers for our family.
We love you all deeply!
Lee, Rachel, and Jeff
